How does 0Pass.com work?


0Pass.com works on EasySecured technology that does not require you to define, remember or enter passwords to sign-in to your accounts.

You can get started to using 0Pass in the following simple steps.

Step 1: Register for a FREE 0Pass.com account!

First you need to enable ActiveX on your Browser. To Enable Active, open Internet Explorer and select Tools / Internet Options / Security.

Select the Internet Zone and click on the Custom Level button. In the window that opens, select the ActiveX options as shown in the following picture.


Next, Select from Computer Lock or a Usb Device Lock account option. Your account password is automatically generated depending on the type of lock you have selected to register.

Enter a User Name and Email ID. We do not ask any other information for registering an account.

An email will be sent to your registered Email ID mentioning the unique password generated by your computer or for your USB Device.

Step 2: Sign-in to your FREE 0Pass.com account!

To Sign-In, use the Computer Lock or USB Device Lock Sign-In box on the home page. If you are sign-in to your 0Pass account using the registered computer or USB Device, simply enter your User Name and click on the Login button. No need to enter any passwords.

If you are not on your registered computer or using your registered USB Device, you can still Sign-In using the password sent to your email address after registration.

After Sign-In, Add the 0Pass buttons to Bookmark and Generate Passwords to your Browser Toolbar. These are available on the Tools page.

Next, add some categories in your 0Pass account manager. This will help you to categorize your online accounts as you keep adding them.

Step 3: Bookmark your online accounts on 0Pass.com!

After you have Sign-In to your 0Pass account, visit the Sign-In Page of your online account and click on the 0Pass Bookmark button on your Browser ToolBar to store your online account details to your 0Pass bookmark manager.

You can categorize your online accounts, give it a description, enter the account user name, etc. We do not ask or store your online account password anywhere.

Step 4: Change your online account password with 0Pass generated password!

Sign-In to the online accounts that you have bookmarked with 0Pass and change their original password with the password generated by the 0Pass Password Generator button on your browser toolbar. You can select from computer lock or USB Device lock to generate the passwords.

Step 5: Using 0Pass to Sign-In to your online accounts without entering a user name or password.!

Whenever you want to access your online accounts, first Sign-In to your 0Pass account and then simply click on the account link listed in your 0Pass account manager.

Once you are On the Sign-In page of the selected online account, click on the 0Pass Password Generator button that you selected in step 4. This will automatically insert the User Name and Password for the online account and you can then Sign-In to your account.


Is 0Pass.com a Password Manager?


0Pass works like a password manager with the exception that it does not ask for or store your account passwords on our server or your computer.

Instead, the password for your bookmarked online account is automatically generated by 0Pass everytime you want to Sign-In and this password is unique to the computer you have registered or your registered USB Device thus making it higly secured and personal.


How do I access my account if my computer or USB Device does not work!


You can access your 0Pass account from any computer using the Password sent to your registered email account at the time of registration.

To Sign-In, use the Computer Lock or USB Device Lock Sign-In box on the home page. Enter or copy the password in your email along with the User Name and click on the Login button and you will be able to access your 0Pass account.

You can also click on Register New Device to disable the old device and register a new device for your account. If you want to use the new device for signing to your other accounts, you will need to change the passwords of those accounts as well using the above Bookmark buttons.


How do I access my bookmarked online accounts if my computer or USB Device does not work!


If your registered computer or USB Device does not work, you will need to change the password of all your bookmarked online accounts by using the forget my password facility of the online account and changing their passwords as mentioned in Step 4.


This seems too complicated for me to use! Is there a simpler solution?


0Pass.com is an online bookmark manager that you can use to organize your online accounts and also use to automatically sign-in.

However, if you find this all complicated, you can simply use the 0Pass Password Generator Browser buttons directly without requiring to register for a 0Pass account. These are available on the Tools page.

Simply follow Step 4 and then go to the sign-in page of your online accounts and click on the 0Pass Password Generator button that you selected in step 4.

This will automatically insert the Password for the online account. Enter your account User Name and Sign-In to your account.


Does 0Pass work on all browsers?


0Pass works on most popular browsers such as IE, FireFox, Chrome, Opera using the Computer Lock Registration and Sign-In. However, the USB device Lock works only with Internet Explorer and with ActiveX enabled.
